Trying to sort through the Mini Macs that have collected here and put together a good line up of runners.

I don't know where this 110 came from but it has like new compression and is pretty clean overall.

I thought I should have a 140AS in good working order as well.

Each new AS chain came with the small grinding stone in a package.

From my limited experience and lack of patience I've found the 140 model to be more user friendly to work on than the 110 and 120 .

I have a couple questions. Where could I find the fuel filter element for a 250. I got one a couple weeks ago and the element wasn't there. Also inside the fuel cap of my pm 850 looks like there may have been a duckbill valve or something? It leaks fuel heavily out of the cap. Thanks for any help.

On the 250 it depends on what style it is .If it's the big filter that resembles a large cigarette filter try MFG supply.on the net .Fact that company has many filter options .

Felt element slips in there, Bailey's used to have them for around $4.00

There does need to be a duckbill in the 10Series fuel cap, the red Homelite valve makes a good replacement.

I don't know if you saw any of the posts when Mike Jackson visited me last year. Mike's dad Bob worked at McCulloch as an electrical engineer involved with thing like the 10 Series "E" saws, primarily on the AC charger, the 170 welder, and even some of the electronic ignition development. We both lamented the fact that I never made it to Los Angeles to visit with his dad before he passed.

In the things that Mike gave me I have perhaps 17 or more copies of patents assigned to Robert V. Jackson and that was just a sample of the electrical/electronic things they were working on.

Mark, is that a NIB electric start mac you have there? That is truly a world class collection of ephemera you have there.

Hello Jim, good to see you are still around and welcome to OPE. I pass over the photos from the parking lot in Ohio at least once a week.

Mike's father selected that 3-10E from the McCulloch warehouse when they were moving things to Arizona from L.A., not quite NIB but very low hours indeed.

It only ran with a 28" fat bar and 1/2" chisel but the 7 pin wasn't near enough and the stock raker height needs to go way down. I may run some of the big chisel on a 36 or 50 inch bar, that is if I can get it. Good as it is, no way the SDC carb 101 will pull that.
