On that Danarm it's not a right hand start Mac but the design is similar .Kind of like the Homelite Xl-12 the basic design was copied by many, almost too numerous to mention .The designs of both were sound and good and carried on for years with success .

I currently believe that Danarm started their 55s by building Frontier 5R and 55 saws under licence. (May have been a 55RE as well but can't presently visualise the pictures I have seen). These "developed/regressed? into the Danarm 55 saws in Mk 1-3 varieties. They produced these in a mix of LH and RH starters. Had Frontier some sort of licencing agreement with McCulloch?

Is there a spring in yours to keep it from kinking at the bend down to the barb or has it kept its shape without one?

Looks like it's ribbed a little beyond the fitting end, too. I have a couple Stens versions that I haven't tried yet, but they seem mighty flimsy where the main bend is required before lining up to hit the barb. Guess I'll find out sooner or later if they'll hold up. Got em free with some other parts a while back, so can't complain if they kink. Probably rustle up some springs at that point.

There is a spring that goes inside the fuel line to prevent it from kinking. Some times you can extract the old one and reuse it, some times you have to cut the fuel line open to recover the spring.

Anyone have a few extra small parts they’d be willing to get rid of, or know of any for a sp125?
I think I’m needing part numbers...
110655 Flywheel nut
55766b Breaker box cover
55977 cover clip?
A couple 102763 10x24x3/4 (sems)
This is the 125c I picked up a while ago...going to get it on the bench to see if I can get it completed, and see why I have no sparkyspark.
Thanks!!

Normally the problem with a points ignition is on the low voltage side of the circuit .More often a tiny little bit of corrosion on the points or the aren't closing all the way .The nut is 7/16-20 used on just about any reed valve Mac . flea bay has a bunch of them

Condensers go bad, too. The 85358 is the same one used on tons of Macs. Lots of folks would say that's the only thing a MiniMac is good for..., me excluded since I sorta like MiniMacs. At any rate, pull a condenser off a MiniMac if ya have one handy and see if that helps.

I have several of each in those 'styles'. Also have a couple in the classic 'donor' style. LOL

I probably have all of those that I can spare. Came off donor saw for my Kart saw. Are you in a hurry? might take me a minute to dig them up. I'm working long days until the 19th then family xmas trip then more long days til the holidays are over.
