Its easier when I look it as spending money on farm for a return verses the government taking it for taxes. I also get it from the local COOP so I get a bit of a dividend check each year. I can almost double hay production on what I cut for about $2000 per year verses paying someone else for hay which would be close to $15000 at local prices.Yes, it does help.
