Real tygon or that knock off crap from knecht's? I've had that cheap tygon looking stuff swell up and get loose on filters in the fuel tank and on impulse barbs.
It was the real stuff. Seems OK for a fuel line in my 394, but I just limit it to that now

Just to sidetrack this thread, I visited the Ardennes a few years ago with Belgian, let me say that the people there still have a lot of love for Americans. It was quite refreshing compare to the attitude displayed towards Americans in many places around the world.

10 years ago Stihl said to us dealers: Show the customers the workbench so they see you are have service tools and qualified mechanics.
Now they say dont: Let those cursing mechanics somewhere in the back, where nobody can hear them.

So please have some mercy with those mechanics and give them some beer.
Normally i need 10 minutes inclusive cleaning/chain sharpening to replace a oil pump.
But those 1125s are just pain in the ass.

Interesting pic. Looks like my old Dakota out there in the snow. :)

What Homelite is that with the oil fill on the back like that? Is that saw still earning it's keep cutting firewood out there?

It's a xl102 that I call my Lil' Hot Rod, for cutting as good as it does with all the accompanying noise to go with. While it doesn't do the Lions share of the work, I like to pull it out and some others from the antique fleet every now and then when an appropriate job come up and"exercise the gaskets". :)
