my friend bought this saw in the winter of 2020 during a big ice storm we had here. it has only been ran about an hour to an hour and a half. its still clean he hasnt cleaned it at all. he brought it to me because he couldnt get it started. it popped on the 4th pull and started on the 6th. however it has damage from what i thought was being stored on the cement floor but its from a salt lamp that overheated and melted. you can see the damage in the photos. what do y'all think he should ask for it to sell it as he has no need for it?

i told him that if he couldnt sell it for a decent price not to worry that we could get case half and i would put it together for him.

$500 pretty easily. The damage is nowhere near anything vital and the other three recoil screws will be enough.

The case is rotted around the limiter on the front handle, used saw I’d say 500$ max low hours or not. I bought a ms 362 at a dealer for 300$ that truly was mint low hours. Not quite sure why everyone has the opinion a used saw that’s 5 years old is worth 2/3-3/4 of a new one.

There will be.... The forecast for today was 0% chance of rain. I am sitting in the shed watching it pour now. This morning they said 0% for Saturday. Now it is 2 to 5 inches........if it stops tonight.

he is just older now, i dont think he can start it. he brought it to me and asked me to check it all out because he said it wouldnt run. it popped on the fourth pull and started on the sixth after sitting all that time with gas in it. fortunatly he only runs efree gas

i have said for many years that i should have been a weather man. its the only job where you can be 100% wrong every day and still have a job the following day.

i remember that very well. i was traveling for my job a lot. that was hilarious. ys just know that the stupid reporters were in a frenzy to get the names and didnt even slow dow to see what it said. when that went out on air some executive producer lost their friggin mind and the phone calls of screaming started. it serves them right.
