brad and I were talking about 661 coils. got to talking some more. his basement flooded. needed money. wondered if i knew anyone that would want to buy it. he said he was 30% over stock. I wanted to see that for myself so I bought it. It does have a lot of speed but it does seem to lack on torque. It's still a good saw.

I see, nice of you to help him out like that! Sounds like his normal build then from what I gather

Right now I think this saw is about +30% on the speed over stock, and it's INSANE on the torque. I'm pretty happy with it. He says there is a point where you can go to far and start to lose! I don't know if I could take that happening! :( So I'm not sure. He's doing 2 more 661's for me so we'll see...

In your opinion, did it oil the bar well enough?

It's on the edge I think. Meaning you don't have a fudge factor. Your tension has to be right and you have to use the right oil for the temp outside.

That said I think the Tsumura's oil better than do the Cannons.
After running mine today with a 28 and the oiler maxed out, I was tempted to turn the oiler down a bit lol

Can not wait till the 661 is ported.

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

Man all 3 of those saws work great. That tree monkey 661 is very impressive. Wow.

Just wondering does the 661 puts out more oil then ms660?

My 066 oiler works great with my 28" set up but when I put on my 36" I always wish it put out more oil. Someday I'll mod the oil pump....someday
