I stay out of the woods from May through September.
Iv only had a couple on me through out the years.
If i go to bush in the summer i wher pants, pull my socks over my pant legs so they cant craw in and also where a light long sleeve shirt tucked into my pants.
What do you guys do to help prevent them dam ticks?

Um what other kind of camping is there?I considered taking the boys camping (real camping like tent in the woods kinda stuff) until they came home from a church day camp with a tick in them two out of five days.
After having Lyme it definitely makes you more cautious.
copperheads
I don't mind the rattle snakes they let you know to get the *f-word back. I chopped a copper head in half with an axe once. Part witha head kept coming for me.Yep.......we got those. And rattlesnakes too.
If we had them around here, they'd be a leadhead when I was done. Not sure I could get close enough to one to kill it with an axe.I don't mind the rattle snakes they let you know to get the *f-word back. I chopped a copper head in half with an axe once. Part witha head kept coming for me.
