Testing Saws In The Summer

I spent half an hour "testing" my new 350/346 this afternoon. It was plenty hot and humid, but I work outside all day anyway, so I'm kinda used to it. Definitely had to rinse off afterwards though. Having a very fun saw to run certainly made the heat more bearable. Thanks again, @t4driller!

Lymes Disease changes a guy..........makes me hate going in the woods in hot weather. Yes.......I am scared of ticks. lol

Anyone else here hate hot weather and the ticks, chiggers, and stuff that comes with it?

On my last day of Doxy to clear out (hopefully) a Lyme infection. I never saw the tick...

We do tick check every night on my 4 and 6 year old. My 4 year old had a tick buried in her behind her ear. Mama kinda freaked out. I wasn't home to get it out.

Around herr we had no positive Lyme tested ticks until 2 years ago. Now this year the Lone Star Ticks arrived. Anything that makes you allergic to red meat is somr scary *s-word...

I work in a hot environment. Couple good sweats at the beginning of the season and i can tolerate it. I'm just careful when it comes to ticks. Yard birds help a lot.

It's not the ticks,it's the freakin mosquitoes that will eat you alive with all the rain we've had .Funny,if it's like in the 90's they don't bother you .If there's any wind they can't track you because they can't follow the co2 trail you exhale .
I've got a propane fired portable fogger that I use if I want to sit on my patio and enjoy a brew or three which keeps them at bay pretty good .

I'm outside all day and night at work, the steel and glare off the deck sometimes just sucks. Thank God for this roof ........ look at the difference between areas. This will all be one building when finished. There will be more buildings added over the next 2-3 years

So, here is my cure for a long-hot day at work .....

No chance of ticks/chiggers at work, but the skeeters are brutal.

At home, its DEET and Sawyer, tick checks are a daily end of day routine
