I work on 440,460, and 660s daily through a few tree services that beat the crap out of them. Tough sawsTo answer the question what saw I highly recommend an 044 or an MS 440.
What do they do to them ? Everything I suppose?I work on 440,460, and 660s daily through a few tree services that beat the crap out of them. Tough saws
I don't see a 562 a saw that would last a lifetime
Tear buffers up, break dawgs off crankcase, busted tanks/covers, ran over by skid steers/ tractors/ vehicles. Mechanical issues r normal bearing/ seal wear, clutches, oiling systemsWhat do they do to them ? Everything I suppose?
Funny how I have been using saws 40 years and very rarely if ever have any of this happen. The only thing that happens to mine is the chain gets rocked or hit nails.Tear buffers up, break dawgs off crankcase, busted tanks/covers, ran over by skid steers/ tractors/ vehicles. These fellows abuse the heck out of equipment!! Good for business though! They break it and I fix it!! $$$$$$Funny how I have been using saws 40 years and very rarely if ever have any of this happen. The only thing that happens to mine is the chain gets rocked or hit nails.
I was using my 461 on a big Oak we cut the other day with a 24 in bar and large bumper spikes ,the thing really cuts well and has great low end torque.Occasional woodcutting Husky 455, 460 , Jred 2255, 2260 or all around use a MS461
My saws get washed with hot water every weekend, air filter blown out and the chain sharpened or replaced. These fellows abuse the heck out of equipment!!
Ya they r a really nicely balanced saws with a 28 light bar with enough to pull the 28 with fullcompI was using my 461 on a big Oak we cut the other day with a 24 in bar and large bumper spikes ,the thing really cuts well and has great low end torque.
IMO the most important things would be good oil/fuel, correct tune, sharp chain, and a clean air filterMy saws get washed with hot water every weekend, air filter blown out and the chain sharpened or replaced.
