Did he ever say how much was a substantial amount? With some of the failures on crank ends of 261s and 362s eating bearings my recommendation is a 6100 or 562 made in 2016 or later.

Well I use Hi test with Amsoil Saber at 40 to one and keep the gas fresh. Always tuned good and I refuse to use a chain that ain't close to sharp as new. Funny how a groundie can stretch a chain and overheat it in a bout 3 minutes! I still cant figure out how the hell they do that! They must rock it get it dull and push the *s-word out of it way too long.

Id buy a 6100/2258/555 .. but its his money and everyone elses opinion.

Yep. To cut a substantial amount without saying wood size or if he's clearing 10 acres or cutting 50 cord of logs thst are dropped would change my pick big time.
