What is the generator for?
Charging the drone batteries in the field. The charger has two 30a plugs and will pull 52a when charging. It’ll charge a battery in 10 minutes. The drone will fly its cycle in 8-12 minutes depending on a number of conditions. By about the time the 20ga tank is empty the battery will be around 20% and it’ll head home. At least that’s the goal for how it should work out.

The generator will also power the 1-1/2hp pump I’ll be using to fill the drone with liquid.

It is smarter than a 5th grader also.

But a 5th grader could run it better than probably 99.9% of adults.
No kidding. I have met some pretty dumb humans over the years. A few dumb enough that you can’t help but think the only reason they’re still here is because breathing and heart beating things are taken care of without thought. If not I doubt some would survive lol.

Finally got my part Chinese part OEM 660 up and running.
The wire coming from the coil to the switch had torn out, so that was the cause of it not starting all these years id say.

Fixed a few other very minor issues. The metal collar holding the rubber intake manifold to the cylinder had no bolt holding it tight. I may have stolen it for another saw some time. I found one that worked.

Got her sharpened and tuned. Good to go.

I dont like the Chinese handle on it, it feels very weak and flimsy. Im going to try and find an oem one.

Does anyone know if a 661 wrap handle will fit? Logs and saws in the uk sells them.

I might even assemble the one I have in a box now :p
Just need a piston.
I do have a model 50, 45mm nos piston that is the same size as the 350, just flat instead of dished. Will experiment… otherwise, meteor if I can’t find a cheap oe one.

This saw wound up with 150#, cold comp with new Caber ring which ain’t bad. No base gasket, .019 sq. Opened up the ex port and lower transfers to match the base, muff mod.
They just feel “right” That was my first decent saw so maybe I’m biased. I have both versions of 346s and liked the 350 more. I run my MS261s all the time now but I need to get the 350 out again.

Wonder if you could weaponize that thing? Might be a fun way to fill crop damage permits.
Even more fun is a thermal drone. Go fly at night above the fields and trees and the stupid deer stick out like sore thumbs. We took out 55 last year in two nights. I flew the drone and relayed the info to the guys on the ground. It was awesome. I use that one to fly fields and scout for crop stress and damage from large and tiny animals. It’s pretty dang neat. It’ll do volumetric calculations as well so I can measure silage piles as well as fill to be moved for a dirt project and a whole host of other things. That one has a 45min flight time. The drone is basically just one giant battery with a few sensors and four propellers lol.

Franklin County. There are a lot coyotes around, and I’d be hard pressed to kill 55 deer in 2 nights without a lot of work. But maybe the deer population is suppressed more by hunting than coyotes.

Around here you set a call and then pull the trigger until your mags empty or they're out of range. Getting 20-30 in a night isn't uncommon for 3 guys moving around on 3 different farms a couple miles apart.

No wonder most people don't bother dismantling old furniture.
I broke my axe handle to get to the second pictures state, no worries though that is not my Dragon Slayer.
