I do not know when many folks pass away. My father used to watch the obituaries in the paper. Sometimes he would tell me and sometimes he would not. I need to watch the radio websites as they generally have them.
I went to see an older woman that worked at a trailer park where I did the drinking water disinfection. Drove to her farm and the animals were gone and the house was torn up. Looked her up and died two years ago. A lot of the people I know weren’t mutual friends of anyone or local so you find out too late. I had a friend pass and his evil wife didn’t have the decency to reach out to any of us. Her goal was to isolate him as much as possible.

Returned to my husky 353 project for a bit. In the lasted episode, id tried to do vac/pressure test and it wouldn't hold anything. No leak down because it wouldn't hold at all. So, today i applied constant pressure from the compressor and sprayed soapy water at the seals. No bubbles. Then I noticed a gentle breeze from the flywheel side of the base gasket. Perfect! The base gasket and the intake are getting replaced anyway, i can move on.

Went to pressure wash the engine preparatory to pulling the jug, and the pressure washer wouldn't work. Then the compressor wouldn't work, so im suspecting an electrical problem in the house. By then i was hot, tired, and having back pain, so i called it a morning. I suppose Monday I'll have to pretend to be an electrician for a while.

Picked up a high performance Honda hs80 snow relocator machine the other day for a few beans. Motor purrs like a kitten. All the bearings are tight. Tracks are in awesome shape which is usually the deal breaker on these as they're NLA from Honda and good used is usually a few hundred for the pair. Reverse didn't work but that turned out to be just a couple adjustments with the friction system and shifter. Chute turning rod/handle, brackets and gear are missing but found an entire setup on ebay for $40 shipped. Changed the engine oil, gearbox oil, greased a bunch of crap, installed a Drainzit oil drain line and fluid filmed some rusty spots. Works like new now. Should be a good machine for my needs.
