The ohio salt has eaten my silverado's wheels to the point they were all losing 5-10psi a day from corrosion. Got tired of filling them up every other day so today was break down, wire wheeling and copious amounts of bead sealer day. The manual tire changer rig works pretty well for what i do. Bolt it down, do my work and put it back in the shed till i need it again

I will take a photo of the company's machine with a pneumatic cylinder to push the tire away from the rim. $100 and I want to buy it.

My neighbor is getting trees cut down. It’s a little punky but it’s next door. I realized bed length logs get heavier as you get older. Had to get the Honda skidder to drag them out. There was a little more but I split the cut to length pieces right away.A2D93648-181B-4FD5-B9D8-4E0FD1F0573A.jpeg08F72136-ED3D-413A-9324-73C09D3FAFE8.jpegE33C8AF9-B97B-4BB1-B977-7CC4E104710F.jpeg

Wait to you drive one that only has rear brakes...... Redneck fun
The rear brakes are always the first to fail. Besides, the handbrake is needed for drifting, the ability to disconnect the front brakes in the pedal would be at least interesting 😉 on the track

I had Ford F250 with one wheel brake. It was the left front. As brake lines broke I just kept blocking them off til there was only one. I did the same on a Mercury Cougar but it had both fronts working.

That truck was quite a machine. It was a 88 with a 300 six and a 5 speed. I bought it on a farm auction. It has the typical junk key ignition so we started it with a screwdriver and drove it home. The clutch was weak and the throwout bearing was junk. I put an ignition in it out of old van. I just used it to haul wood and trash. It never left the farm and I never put a clutch in it. It sat here so long I knew it was time to rehome it. I put it on eBay or our local auction site. A guy from across the river bought it. The morning he was coming I took it over to the dumpster at the shop to clean the trash out of the bed. At that time it had not moved in probably two years. I told the guy the clutch was junk and it had no brakes but the goofball took off with it. Later in the day I saw it sitting at the end of our gravel road. Then later I was in town and saw it going down the street on a roll back truck. It was obvious common sense had sunk in. That night he called saying it did not have third gear. Well I know it did when I drove it home years before but after that I am not sure it ever went far enough I needed third.

I thought I had my element sorted but the check engine light is back on. Cleaned some junk out of the driveway and cut a load of oak. It’s a shame to cut it into firewood but no one wants to come out for a few logs.

I got to the airport 3 hours before my 6am international flight. I was running around like a border collie trying to get everyone out of the house on time. Now in line at MacDonalds to get an egg mac muffin.
The worst part of traveling is over, almost time to relax.
