I finally finished up getting an old 162se running, dressed the bar and put on a new chain, I don't think this saw has ran in 10 years. Took it out to the wood pile and put 2 tanks of fuel through it. I think I might need to tear the carb apart and give it a good cleaning. But it lives again. Wood was frozen and full of dirt so I stopped, next up is the 61, parts should be here this week.

I swapped a 2100 with a bad coil for a port job on my XPW, a 32" Stihl bar that needs a tip, and $2. I didn't really need to get rid of the 2100 and I didn't really need to get the W ported but since my buddy who builds hot saws is a 2100 nut I figured I might as well swap a saw I don't need for a port job I don't need. The $2 is because I didn't have the exact change for a parts deal, fyi. I also wet sanded a truck, returned a saw and a blower to a buddy, and picked up his 350 that I thought I'd fixed but is now acting like it has an air leak, again!

Was going to mill this maple log, when I picked it up to set it on the saw horses I realized it had a massive hole in the middle of it…great. Ended up deciding to try and get some 3-4ft beams out of the ends to cut into table legs later on. Due to the rotten hole the figuring and color in this log was awesome. Spalted maple table legs is just something you don’t see every day. Beams are 4.25” thick and 9-11” wide. 2E9728AC-0674-4F13-A5EB-0563DF8DFAEC.jpegDCD5D279-9E0F-4AE8-97E5-4C81026E8F43.jpeg 1BD68B8A-40D9-4E90-929F-D0BB956EAD77.jpegACB71CF5-F21C-4F4E-B41C-51D03621A2F7.jpeg
