Took a trip back to the 90's. Went to the local casino to see The Cult. Love Removal Machine is still a great rock'n roll song.

What did I do today?
Breakfast and then discovered the roof is leaking.
We had extremely stormy weather on Thursday.
Several neighborhood houses lost parts or even the entire roof, mine looked fine.
It is raining continuously since then with occasional strong wind gusts.
This morning I discovered a leak in our guests room.
It is supposed to rain continuously until Wednesday, I hope the leak stays under control till then.
For now a bucket has been placed under the dripping ceiling.

I guess I am still better off than those that have to cope with more severe roof damage. o_O

Interesting beginning of the weekend. :p

Get that bucket above the ceiling (in attic) if possible. Otherwise the whole section may collapse. If you can't get above that area, poke a hole in the ceiling so the water can come out without spreading.

My friend came over and we cut some white pine that he can make into paneling for his sons garage. Went pretty good after getting the mill all lubed up and ready. He brought his brand new 562Xp he purchased from Bob at Ashokan Turf & Timber, wow what a saw, it was a pisser of a blister cutter for sure. I kept catching myself only pulling the throttle only so far(to what rpm I'm used to I guess) and I'm like hey, there's more, lets giver. Almost wish I hadn't ran it cause now I want one. My beloved 272XP is looking a little bit nervous, and rightfully so, as my chainsaw love now has a wandering eye. Then again, I already have too many saws, so what's one more? Now I just need to fabricate an absolute fool proof cockamamie justification to make it happen. Hmm...

No attic to speak off, half the ceiling is basically the roofs angle.
We poked some holes in the ceiling and hung up shoelaces to funnel the water into the bucket and keep it from running into the wall (brick wall).
The weather forecast changed slightly, rain today and tomorrow, Tuesday cloudy but no rain - we'll try and locate the crack/hole in the roof and hopefully plug it.

Sorted through the chains I picked up from Definitive Dave yesterday. Far fewer than I brought home on my last visit there.

WOW!

The table is almost too small for all of those loops and almost too short for the far right one. :worship2:

Looking at the picture most of those loops have a lot of life left in them.

Did absolutely nothing today!
Just enjoying my day off. :)

Finished up some yard work today and played with a few R/C warbirds in the shop today. About as exciting as it got and time to close the eyelids. 0600 and that flightline come awful early in the morning. Enjoy your night fellers.

I put new seals in a Sachs Dolmar 153 only to have the ignition die. Then a new Nova module, replacing the old Atom, in a 1130g Homie only to gave the starter not want to engage the dogs. Oh well at least yesterday the C91g got a new piston and cylinder. That was easier than an 044 or a 395.

got this pulled into the shade with a fan and got it running after a 10 yr rest in the barn.
its a ford 2 barrel 352 fired right after cleaning the points and pouring some gas in the carb.
planning on kitting the carb cleaning out the gas tank and going through the ignition the fuel pump still works and it was pumping out some bad smelling gas from the gas tank.
