all i can say about it is, its pain to get the depth correct on it and it jammed up often but i think it is just worn out and needs to be parked.
i finally got it to plant down 1 inch and it spacing was ok at 5 inches.
a local co-op had a new seed in he said should work the best its called pioneer hi-bred 31g70 for silage so im hoping it does ok.

Well, not so much what I did as what I'm going to do. After about 2.5 months of remi-retirement, today is my first day @ a new "job". I accepted at small used motorcycle shop. Will do anything needed, fluid/tire changes, prep bikes for selling, help on the sales floor when busy etc. Exciting and I think it'll be a fun job. I've been on 2 wheels since '82 so it's definitely a passion.

I mowed the airstrip, then I mowed a rental property, then I worked on a mower deck the rest of the day into the evening. I had a chainsaw in my hand for a while that I was going to take pics of to add to my CL ad but I got distracted and never did it.

Drove my GMC around to get parts an tools. Finished laying in the pipe for our new water line. Got a buddies Homelite VI-955 running perrty darn good. Drove my 47 Case around for some fun. And then took the 77 Chevy with the 572 out for a Joy ride. Little to much motor I think.

Been a busy day here. Put a EGR valve in my truck, brakes on the wife's Jeep, fixed a tiller for a good friend and just finished planting a little sweet corn in the garden. Pretty much a mud pit at the moment but if the corn doesn't take I have enough to replant it. Cold and *s-wordty here as well today and I did see a spit of snow a couple hours ago. :(

Went to Church this morning. Then in the afternoon I rototilled my garden, cut the grass, ran a saw for a little while and helped a neighbor grind all the stumps in the neighborhood! I did all this while it snowed! Tonight I drove my oldest son up to our church camp where he works for the summer. It's about 20 minutes from Punxsutawney PA. I felt like stopping and having a talk with Phil!

Today I grouted tile, installed trim, caulked seams, built a carpenter bee trap and installed it, hauled a dump trailer load of wood chips and then welded the trailer tongue jack because I forgot to raise the jack again. (grrrr)
I also went to an insurance company to get some quotes, routed some hinge mounts on some new doors, raked leaves, shipped an modded muffler I sold on eBay and watered the garden. Now I'm vegging.
