I didn't have such a large vessel, so I poured vinegar inside 😎🤠

I got a small M6 screw stuck, but that's a bad place to weld 😉

The rust showed slightly wavy blades 😉 good thing I have thin bushes to cut, so I only sanded them lightly 🤠

some kroil for a day or so might losen it up enough to get it out
I started it before it got loose, now I just need to weld it and either cover the area around it or remove the valve cover. If it weren't for the sheet metal for hanging the engine, a metal funnel would fit 😉

However, I prefer electric hedge trimmers, as I am close to electricity. Combustion engines farther away perform better and are much heavier

Today I blew pine straw (long leaf pine needles) off the roof of a rental house and loaded it into a trailer. Also cut down a very overgrown crepe myrtle that was too close to the house and 30+ feet tall. Loaded that up too. I've been cutting some trees down right behind my house that have needed to come down for years but I never got around to it. Working that down into firewood. It's hotter than blazes here in Georgia but stuff still needs to happen.

Made a new heavy duty line cutter for my weedeater and reinforced the shield.
I may have gone a bit overboard, but I enjoyed the tinkering with SpeedSteel (for the cutter) and Stainless steel (for the reinforcement strips).

Gonna try it out now.
If all is OK I will re-tighten the nuts and squish the bolt ends to secure the nuts.

I know they are available for purchase, I know they are probably only $3, I know I spent way more in time making them. The good…. I didn’t have to go to my dealer and hear the same old stories. We don’t stock those, it will take a couple weeks, I’ll let you know when we place an order or that will be $100 😂.

I'm going to test it finally 😉 I was missing this pin with 2 different threads and a nut. The spool had 4 lines, I turned it into 2 / You have to call it nicely 🤠 Chinese disaster 😉 The spool is 1.8" see what a small centrifugal force does to the line, Of course, it also winds up longer grass
