After giving my elbows some time to rest, I started by just fully opening and closing my hands several times a day. I only mention it as I think the importance of simple stretching + or range of motion exercises is often overlooked.

Best of luck with your recovery.

The Physio I visited gave me a range of stretches and also some controlled muscle extension exercises using a resistance band. I really notice the benefit of these.

Does the pain feel like someone used a needle the size of a 3" nail to inject ice cold water in your elbow......
it varies..... sometimes I just "know about it"... sometimes I wonder about the iced water/boiling water/battery acid injection. Hasn't been too bad lately. Certain elbow movements/rotations caused more pain than others. I'm unlucky in that I have both golfers' elbow and tennis elbow (both arms and despite not being a golfer or recent player of any racket sport) They affect different tendon attachment points in your elbow.

This is what I was going to say as it's what I have especially when my elbow gets cold

Put a new roof on our old hunting cabin over the WE with relatives, delivering wood regularly now, and replaced the bolt on the splitter that connects the piston to the splitting head. It is 5 years old and has split about 100 cord, so I won't complain! Still starts easy and runs like a champ! It is only rated at 22 ton, but it goes through anything wood that I put in there, including large, tough Y s.

Came home from work today to get surprised that my boy and his friend had my trailer load of wood all split. Never had nothing to do so just kinda a lazy night now.
Maybe i will get home tomorrow and they will have it piled.....

I picked up new winter tyres for my mom's car after work.
These will replace 12 year old ones.
My mom doesn't (yet) know that I got her new tyres. :)

Next agenda, new summer tyres next spring. ;)

The company I work for is doing dirt work at the Army National Guard target training grounds for the Abrams tank and other things. We installed a culvert today and other stuff.

This sign is not far behind the excavator.

And I found these behind the sign. I put my size 13 in the pics for comparison. I believe they're 155mm.

It warmed up this afternoon, so I finished up the Hickory Work Bench I built for the Cabin.

Only 2' X 4', but with 2+" thick top and shelf, and 4" thick legs, it has some serious weight!

It is all drilled to mount the vice after I get it up there.

Small note Regarding body joint pains. A couple weeks ago, I was in the Orthopedic clinic for hip & leg pain.
And I say: Hey doc, can we try the Methylprednisolone dose pack, instead of injections. The shots just seem to quit working after a couple days now.
The dose packs have always worked pretty well.
The DR tells me the Methylpred stuff has been recalled and the so the injections aren't the same stuff now (just plain Prednisone now).
Me: well how about the Methylprednisolone oral dose packs?
Clinic staffer: Can't get those either.

A week later, I'm in the drug store and catch a slow moment to ask the Pharmacist what they know of the recall/shortage? and when they might be back on the market.
Pharmacist just makes a funny face and steps into the racks then steps back out.
......Holding a large handfull of the Methylprednisolone dose packs.
Shrugs and says "we've got bunches of them"

Web search says the Methylprednisolone was found to be contaminated and pulled, back in March of 2018.
This coincides with the time when the injections seemed to lose their efficacy.

I've repeatedly asked these people for the names of what they inject me with.
and Get a non-answer every time.
Now I find out they dropped to a lower effect medicine and couldn't be arsed to inform me?

Yep, it's a CMC/Atrium facility.

But, they want you back in to see 'em twice/three times as often...and they want their co-pay upfront, every single time. Amazing how the *s-wordt works ain't it...
