We never gave up our gun rights, we are just slowly having them stripped away
We lost our semi auto rifles and shotguns, some farmers and pro shooters can still own semi auto but need a genuine reason for ownership.
Magazine capacities are also restricted, no high capacity mags anymore.

Yeah my favorite varmint rifle was a 243w with 65g vmax at 3750 but I got in to longer range so that was replaced with a 260r and a 7mm mag .
But I will say the best fun guns are a shotty and a 45acp

Im just spotlighting these days on some large acre sheep farms, just using calibres that shoot flat and fast for foxes.

A 65 grain v-max in front of some Varget was my favorite load for the .243 as well. It produced some rather spectacular kills on large desert jack rabbits.

Some States are trying to do the same to us here. In NY, some semi rifles need to be registered, and mags are limited to rounds.

In School, (my Grand Kids) prohibited words include "Gun" and "Shoot", what are they going to do next, burn the books!

At some point in time, those of us who value liberty and freedom, are going to have to make a stand and collectively not comply. Is not a law that breaks the law(constitution) null and void?

I would Hazzard to guess many of us on this forum enjoy our God given rights (not government privilege) of keeping and bearing arms.

Do any you really believe they are going to stop legislating until they confiscate every one of our firearms?

This comment is for educational and or entertainment purposes only.

Liberals are steadily working toward it. The reason no country will invade us is armed populace. NOT giving up mine!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shep
With all due respect the Republicans and NRA have sold us out as well. Seams like they have a hell of a hard time understanding a simple phrase like "shall not be infringed".

Definitely not trying to make it a political argument.

The Supreme Court is not doing it's job … it is the 2nd Amendment, not a State Right!!! The purpose of the Bill of Rights was to ensure you would not loose those "rights" even if they became unpopular!

Like I always tell people, there are only 2 problems with Gun Control: 1) It does not work, and 2) It does not stop (they always claim it did not work because they did not do enough).

It makes me sick when I see all the "unintended victims" and "drive by shooting" in NYC (Detroit, Chicago), on almost a daily basis. And, of course, the permit rule (for all firearms) in NYC are so strict that basically only law enforcement and criminals have guns. The regular folks are defenseless. It is disgusting!

I have a NYS full carry permit, but it is not good in NYC … were else would I need it???

Firearms only have 2 enemy's...... rust and politicians ...... and after what I have seen here in Australia the second is the most dangerous no matter what side they are on .
The government's are and have been teaching our kids that the government knows what's best for them . Lucky my kids had me to set them straight . I was always up at that damn school to set them straight after my kids got in trouble telling them how things really were ......

I was not a good student in school … and when I was in the 3rd grade the teacher requested a meeting with my parents and the principle. My Dad knew that I had other interests (like Dinosaurs and Snakes) and that I was very knowledgeable about those things.

So he spoke to the teacher a bit before the meeting and realized that the teacher knew nothing about me.

The teacher and the principle were on one side of the table, my parents on the other. The teacher stated: "Michael is not doing well in school, you should not expect much of him".

My Dad replies "Well, if worse comes to worse, he can always be a teacher".

My Mom says there were a whole lot of facial contortions, but no words came out. The meeting ended early.

No joke. The supreme Court has failed on the 2A.
Ridiculous you even have to get a permit to carry(bear) a firearm. At one time I had a CCW in Az before they went "constitutional carry".

I'm glad it(gun control/tyranny) pisses you off as much as it does me! Lol. You are a true American Mike.

Missouri recently passed some proactive legislation criminalizing gun control/confiscation attempts by the federal government. I hope to see other states follow suite.

Finally got done laying the tile in my bedroom. 2 walls painted, grouting all but about 10 sq. Ft tonite will grout that little section tomorrow. 815D0909-E624-438A-8415-986AF0864B1A.jpeg
Ended up deciding to put crown molding up after my wife the painting cutter of the house decided she wasn’t going to try to cut the ceiling on the burgundy accent wall.... hah hah I saw this coming months ago when she picked the colors out!

Got side tracked by the snip. Doc moving procedure up by 1 week really put me behind schedule on this project. Will paint the other two walls tomorrow as well.

Happy birthday America!

Well it’s getting there. All the tile grouted. Just have that one small section that has to dry. Baseboards on the painted walls. Still need to do another mopping before I can put furniture back. Break time for supper and then back at it.

My friend Matt and I cut a load of firewood for some friends that had a terrible day two mondays ago. Long story short. She stepped in a hole, fell, and dislocated her right elbow. He came out of the house to help and his bad leg gave out. He fell into something in his yard, hit his head and broke his neck in two places. He's not paralized luckily. Needless to say they need help so tomorrow theres a bunch of us going there to split and stack two loads of wood. Heres the one Matt and I got today. The one we got last Sunday was just as much. Friends are priceless so we all help when someone is down.

I continued work on the Table I'm building for my Hunting Cabin. I put a light coat of epoxy on the two pedestal legs (4" X 18" X 29") and stained the rest of the underside of the table.

Then the hard part, luckily my big neighbor Chris helped me flip it. After the pics I cut both ends flush and caulked all cracks. If the weather holds, I plan to sand it and epoxy the top to look just like the legs.

It is 2 1/8" thick and measures 7.5' by 46/47". The two live edge boards are Black Oak, and the center board and pedestal legs are Red Oak.

This is the biggest project I've done, I'm stoked! Was going to do 4 - 4 X 6 legs, but before I started cutting I figured the 2 pedestals would be easier and look/work better. I like the look!

I inlet the table 1" deep, plus there are 3 cross braces (3.5" X 2" X 40") and the legs are against the two end cross pieces, respectively.

I had the table top up side down on my wood hauling trailer, I used my felling wedges to level it side to side, then made sure both pedestals were level before I screwed them in. (Used Loctite PL Premium and 3" deck screws). The screws are just to hold it in place, when the PL Premium dries the legs are not moving.
