Yea, complete factory recoils were rather expensive last I checked. I have had good luck with the AM ones for 460s and 660s. I just make sure I lube them and work them in a bit before I install them.

Got half of my garden tilled back up to dry after the heavy rain yesterday. Hoping to get the other half and get the rest of my seeds planted this weekend. Already got tomato plants? Jalapeño, and banana peppers in the ground then the corn planted last week. Hope it starts to pop up soon.

Now don't no one be havin a heart attach or nothin, it wasn't planned, but at the moment ... I own two Huskys. One seems to be a good runner (don't have a B+C for it), and one is parts in a box.

So, I ended up with two 576s for a price I could not pass up, and a brand New bar + chain that turns out to be a Stihl mount 20" ES with RS chain (that I can use). (No wonder they couldn't get it to work). Toyed with fixin the non runner, then decided it would be better to find someone who knows Huskys. I got enough other stuff to work on!

Spent part of the day slithering around in a very tight crawl space under one of our houses. Besides the decades old dog skeleton I found, the live feral cat that faced off with me and a bunch of pipes, lines, ducts, obsolete parts and pieces of plumbing, hvac and electrical stuff, I failed in my attempt to reach a plugged bathtub drain. Just couldn't get there. I called a plumber and he's going to see if he can figure anything out. I really hate to tear the house apart. (tile on both sides of wall, etc)
Jobs like that keep my wallet happy! I do hate most crawl spaces severely.

Looks like you had some fun! I hate pines they're so sticky with sap and ruins your clothes. But they are the easiest to cut down and the branches load up nicely!

Went out back and grabbed a few logs today. We've had a ton of rain so it's really wet. We only grabbed a few.

This is my log transportation setup. 2000 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4. I built the green log carrier. Saw a few at the Woodsman's Field Day's in Boonville a few years back so I had to make me one. Sure beats dragging logs through dirt and mud. Can buck the logs off the end too!

Hopefully it'll stop raining so much and dry up. We'll be able to get more regularly.
