Its just a muffler OK, don't take it too seriously hahaha
I'm stuck in a work saw rut, so tend to look at everything through that lens.
However, there's a time and place for everything, even wild chainsaw exhaust creations. I'm not against them, just against working alongside them to keep my head from splitting in two is all. Lol

I think of a chainsaw as a tool...not a toy. So I view everything thru that lens.
I view a vehicle as transportation, I'd bet my grocery money that you have ran a car/truck without the factory exhaust though. I get it, big kids wanna play too. Might be this is what the start of getting old is like. Lol

I have a truck with headers and a flowmaster exhaust system. The headers have been a pain in my ass though. I regret using them. The truck is also a tool....and I used the headers to help with fuel efficiency. But the leaks have been too much trouble.

If it was a toy, the leaks wouldn't bother me, as the headers would be uncapped.

See how that works?

Dug some chromoly tubing out of the scape bin for this one.
Pretty sure you could hear it from 5 miles away. Put it on my ported 353. Actually pulled pretty hard but darn it was loud!
Had to wear foamys I side my muffs. Lol

If your like any other red blooded American male, you've done sillier things when you were younger. I know I surely have, that I wouldn't now.

Just don't go running up and down the street revving it in the middle of the night like some people do.

“Well Doc, I guess tonitus is just part of getting old…or maybe a product of being young.”

What’s the T for? Option to make it loud on both sides?

i never understood what the attraction to all of the horns and big noise makers on a saw muffler. opening up a restriction and improving performance makes sense but that can be done with simple bigger holes and such. how are you supposed to do any actual work with all of the pipe in the way. not talking about a expansion chamber race saw. but the rest that are for normal use. i suppose im getting old too.

That could not only ruin exhaust flange, but break cylinder off of the case. Makes felling spike unnecessary.

Creativity isn’t always logical. Sometimes it’s just fun to make something. I appreciate the work these guys are putting in and the guts to show what they’re doing. Keep it coming!

Professional Fallers I believe run stock mufflers for the most part , with occasional extra port in them, the attraction is that , a attraction for the unordinary , in us mear mortal wood cutters ,
