I'd mount caster wheels on that abomination. It couldn't look any worse.
Ummmm

Yes, yes it could look worse

The twin rams horns took that worse title !

This still looks as ugly as a fresh pile of hot, runny, poop in a full outhouse if you ask me.

Shoot, if you can weld that tin pony abortion together, you could certainly get something closer to a real muffler put together and have it work and fit like oem.

Well I could have made it more functional but then what would you guys have to laugh about.

What!! The twin ram horns were the coolest looking pipe I've ever seen! In fact it's what inspired me to come up with this masterpiece!

If I was good at welding, I'd make a muffler that extends all the way down in front of the oil tank to make it quieter without loosing power.

I like that idea. Would ride down the log like a depth gauge

Well yeah... it could... but only if I used it like a Chainsaw
I like that you have thick enough skin to take some criticism. Fugh the muffler......you're cool in my book.

OK, back to boring old conventional...

Dave brought me his saw back and didn't like the quicky gills I put in his muffler originally cuz it blew exhaust upwards when into a large log. Had an extra one of these mufflers from back when I did my 357 and his 359.

I still gotta braze it in and paint it and I'll get it back to him.

Looks like it will just cook the case. I don't like it when exhaust ports blow on the case. One hole that size probably won't make a noticeable difference in power.

You’ll want a deflector on that or it will weaken your case in that already weak corner…

Ah I hadn't thought of that. Thanks.
