I went back under the hood on this thing to raise the transfers and exhaust a bit. I might have a pipe on it tomorrow if I can get the flange welded.
Here it is running a 10 pin in some knotted up fir. And running pretty rich at about two full turns out.

Woods port, tuned to 14.4k, holding 12.7k in the cut...20" seasoned hard maple.

I thought so too. Glad I happened to have a video of that saw when it was stock. Wish I had a stock video of my 372 to compare to how it runs now.

• Here it is with the pipe running 3/8 10-pin. I'll do another video tomorrow after I sharpen the chain. It's pretty hammered from fir knots by this point.

Sounds good. Is it harder to tune with that pipe? I really could not hear any burbles at the top end.
The pipes make it sound like a dirt bike motor.

The tuning is the same. I tuned it like you might if you were using a light use work saw. Not extra lean for chain speed or anything like that. I didn't hold it at full throttle until in the wood so it's not easy to hear.

It's definately stout. J has those 1122's figured out.

Sounded a fuzz lean? What rpm you at?
