Utah, unfortunately.....
I took a couple hours to make, and partake in a delicious dinner with my family, and then I come back to people being "huffy" in a fundraiser thread? I think it may be time for some folks to get a life.
Here's dinner....
20171225_184503.jpg
Whole turkey breast, seasoned up, and cooked on the top rack over a nice bed of Kingsford's for two hours.
20171225_185307.jpg
Six 16 ounce NY Strips cooked to 130°F center temperature.
20171225_192924.jpg
Four pounds of green beans, cooked in cast iron, with butter, bacon, bacon grease, and red onion.
20171225_192930.jpg
Baby potatoes in the dutch oven. They're pretty damn good.
We also had a baked potato option, Caesar salad, and French bread.

Good evening everyone I hope you all had a very merry Christmas today. I'd like to start by saying how very touched I feel to b part of an amazing group of people like you all. I'd like to thank everyone that was involved in this raffle whether you donated to the prize kiddy or the money deal. I had no idea this was taking place till last wed night when redfin reached out to me. I lost my phone along with many other things in the fire so I downloaded the site on my phone that night and I must say as I read through you guys posts it made me tear up a lil. A lot of you guys I do not know ur screen names but do know ur faces and there's also a bunch that I know I've never met so it really means a lot to me that all you guys did this without knowing me and knowing you didn't have to anything at all. So thank you all for that. It's bin a really tough last few weeks with trying to make sense of all of it and wandering how I'm gonna get beyond it. Reading over all your posts have really made me appreciate things a lil differently and all your kind words make me very happy to be part of this group. All you guys went outta ur way financially for me even during the holidays when money usually is not very plentiful. I'm not very good at expressing my feeling so this is kinda awkward for me. You all made Christmas extra spacial for me when I was not looking forward to it at all. Thank you all for that. I've keep telling myself that I'll get through this one day at a time and all of u have made it easier.
Thank u all for everything you've done.
And a special thank you to John for putting all this together. I can not begin to put into words how all u guys have made me feel.. again thank you all..
