Real pain trying to stay close, without welding the jug to my mandrel..

Should all clean up, this is getting bored for the 56mm sleeve.

We shall see.

Well I had a bunch of videos to upload but YouTube went and banned my account. I sent the appeal, we will see how it goes.

my account went,, could be that I was naughty, and got a strike,, then boom terminated, after adding 2saw vids.
I got another account:D & only uploaded private vids, them a few peeps saw them and them others could not..changed to unlisted and bingo suspended..

I will say YT wants those ads at the end/beginning or both.. I could have fallen foul there. Aftee all who wants fugging ads if it’s just a min or 2 max of rippin wood with a screaming 2stroke & fuggin chain ..:D

Why are you using a mandrel? If you warp the bore/plating, would it matter? Just wondering.

Amazing work Joe. Thank you for taking the time to show it.

If the bore warps, the base cutting mandrel will have to be undersize. Which will be sloppy at the band. And not guarantee the base will be perpendicular to the bore.

Just like cutting squishband, any amount the cylinder is out just magnifies the further you travel Down the bore.

Just starts a chain reaction. As much as I am boring out, I need to keep the bore centered in the casting best I can.

Also it is easier to dial in a round bore than an oval.

May be way off, but that is how I see it.
