New falling Saw. Stihl MS 661 or 660?

I always liked porting a 650.
Run with or ahead of a 660

I happen to have one of those ported I am looking to move. Lol. It does run very strong.

A 650 cylinder is timed good and that's why they run good stock and ported.
Lot of time there stronger than a 660

A 064 has everything right for the 85cc cylinder.
Lot of 85cc 064's will beat the 92cc saws

The worst 066/660 cylinder I've ever timed was 93 119 84 with a gasket
It was a KS red light cylinder
I had 2 and the other was 98 120 78
It's on the 066 I built for @hseII

@drf256 064 hybrid has the best cylinder I ever had or timed.
Stock with a gasket It was 99.5 77
Cant remember the transfers

Its at 103 with just under 200lbs of compression and that's why the better they are the better they run.
Most you have over 200lb just trying to get 100.

His is most likely the strongest 064 or 066 I've done.

It's ballpark 185lbs; not too bad, & no Texas Button to Fail.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice but if I am I'll spill the beans.

The flat top decomp 066's had mahle decomp cylinders and hands down are the best.
If it's a mahle and has a decomp then it's a good one.
Much better than the no decomp cylinders that everybody wants.

All things base but it doesn't hurt anything.
You will see ks on some 660 cylinders but they all have a decomp.

Yeah it's a damn shame, that mahler thick base was one I really wanted to use.

That is a very nice running saw, ran it at the CT GTG, but Jason, that was no excuse for you to put a unicorn horn and a pink top on it!!! I don't know why you had to show it off like that!

I know, I'm just breaking them a bit! The Dr has a sense of humor! Great saw though, as I'm sure you have seen in the vids, everyone enjoyed running it.
