Just use some inner tube between the muffler/carb and bolt back on. I'll be doing to an 036 tomorrow afternoon if everything goes well. Or you can order these.

Cut the deflector out Dave.

Get a DP cover from Definitive Dave.

I open both the factory hole and the Front DP hole. Add coarse screen. I also have done gills and a seperate deflector on the flywheel side of the DP cover.

Looks great. I got a duel port from DD for the one of these 4 that will be mine. I will open up the others ljke you did but leave front intact. Very nice job with yours.

Ok got the first 460 put back together. Pressure/vac tested and ran half a tank threw her today. Ckd piston and looks great. I will run it somemore tomorrow. I ended up doing a mm and deleting base gasket. Will start on 460#2 later in the week. It has a leaky crank seal on clutch side.

Cut with again today and piston looks great. I would say 460#1 is finished! 2 more to go.
