Yup, I'm jealous.
no chance Tor. I am a husky man but I have to admit that Stihl is a very well built saw.great find Dave
That said, I hope you dont switch!
Ya I had that happen on one! Hey there Scott what ya been up to? Back into saws yet?Keep a close eye on the handles. The knuckle/dog bone are weak links in the handles. Many times someone gets the bar stuck and jerks the saw back and it breaks the dog bone.
Is this what is called the "D" cylinder? The first cylinder is what I was telling you about Dave great find let me know when you want to start.
Any chance of a little bit of info if thats ok ? can't say I'm familiar with the D top cylinders .The first cylinder is what I was telling you about Dave great find let me know when you want to start.

Didn't it have a decomp? I thought D chambers did not have decomps? The first cylinder pictured is a "D" shaped cylinder. The combustion chamber looks like a "D". I'm sure Randy will pipe in here soon.
Ok Ok, here's some pics. I had to wait to get to a computer to upload from sd card. I hope some of you Stihl guys can comment on the cylinders. I noticed the 046 jug has a smaller combustion chamber than the 460's. also the mufflers are different and the 460's seem more restricted.
