Shall I go on?
Yes. I want to hear the facts.
Shall I go on?
Well then, Don’t talk to John.
None of my business, but if you have to get called out publicly to do the right thing, you don't get no kudos from me.
That's not character. That's called getting caught.
Character is doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
When it looks like a rat..
Smells like a rat..
Steals a lot of cheese when the cat ain't logging in to forum.
Refuses to rectify the situation after at the very least three "friends" have gently suggested to do so...it's not only a rat...but a capybara sized rodent. (Google that bish)
I was thinking why would he pay 1060.00So Ken, who owns several saws by Jason Egan and Hotsaws 101, contacts John Reilly and asks him for a saw that’s not ported?
Some of you don’t know Ken, and that’s fine.
If we can believe that, again, we can believe that the meteor cylinder isn’t ported.
If we can believe that, we can also believe that the saw was lean seized and there were no AM parts on the saw.
Next, let’s make a big jump and believe that the replacement OEM cylinder was acceptable to anyone who’s ever built a saw for someone else.
If we’re still on the believe train, we can believe and sympathize with John about tearing down this “minty” saw repeatedly.
Im just not there.

Giant ass guinea pigsNaw...Chupas are mythical...cappys are real

In the re-cap by D-Dave, and I’m certainly not calling out Dave, John claimed Ken contacted him to buy the saw then asked for it not ported, this was the original, not the second generation.I was thinking why would he pay 1060.00
For a ported saw
Then when it was being repaired
To get a non ported saw
In place of it.
Oh hell yes.Or for a rifle that doesn't shoot accurately.
