You can't expect these saw companies to do the heavy lifting in term of R&D for battery development, they just use the current tech that the EV manufacturing uses. There's a wall that was hit for a few years now in terms of energy storage, so its impossible to recreate a 50cc or higher in terms of power with batteries without creating a boat anchor. That being said I like that husky uses a clutch in their latest electric saws (stihl, makita wake up pls), but I'm disgusted by the plasticky feel and lack of magnesium.
