Hmm. Didn’t realize that. I got a 395 Meteor since the OE piston was not included (bought in a box), so I never was able to compare them.I think I took 1mm off the intake skirt (thickness of base gasket included). The 395 piston skirt is even shorter. I was gonna try raise ex 1mm too but decided to be conservative. Didn’t even widen ports or anything.
I’m not sure about the meteor 395, but the couple 395 oem pistons I have here are all much shorter skirt than meteor 394 and centered ring pin vs on sides. 1.2 vs 1.5mm rings as well.Hmm. Didn’t realize that. I got a 395 Meteor since the OE piston was not included (bought in a box), so I never was able to compare them.

I maybe might need to pester you for a few things Dustin. They are a super easy saw to work on.
Anytime Mike.
I add another deflector right in front of the stock one. I believe that area is outside the baffle/tubeWhat do you guys like to do inside the muffler? Cut the baffle out? This is a am muffler, so not worried about hacking it.View attachment 216975
Mine is a single chamber muffin, no baffle of any kind. Dual ports let it exhale. What do you guys like to do inside the muffler? Cut the baffle out? This is a am muffler, so not worried about hacking it.View attachment 216975
