I’m not stuck to it, I can bring it to Tennessee if you need another.
What’d you buy? I need to fund a 371k project, I can’t fall off the wagon.... never got on it.I’ll be honest, I’m broke after buying 4 saws in three weeks. The Saw fund is pretty much empty. I sure appreciate the offer though! I’ve been out of the saw scene for a while, but it’s just hard to completely stay quit. I found some rare deals for my area and couldn’t pass them up. I always seem to fall off the wagon and start lurking Facebook marketplace. Used to be Craigslist. Anyhow thanks again for the offer.

SumbitchThree 288’s and a 390 ![]()
@Fruecrue if you are running a base gasket, check squish. Most of the time they are very loose. I think mine was 49. A base gasket delete and a muff mod really produces good gains. Also, I tried out a shyknees coil and it felt like a 20% reduction in power while it was on the saw.
You know all about it! How’s its twin doin? Mine took a few tanks to properly break in but it’s an animal now! I’d love to put it on a dyno. Wondering if it has 10 horses.Yeah, but you got the 394 thats been souped up now!!!![]()
Squish now is .050”, I’ll port it if it hangs around long enough.@Fruecrue if you are running a base gasket, check squish. Most of the time they are very loose. I think mine was 49. Agreed, my squish was over .050, it had a base gasket in it at the time of my video. I threw it out (.026 squish after), shaved the intake skirt of the piston, muffler mod and .020 timing advance. It responded well.
Lol!! Sorry neighbor!@RIDE-RED 350r your killing my chances of getting another 394 here. LMAO
I think I took 1mm off the intake skirt (thickness of base gasket included). The 395 piston skirt is even shorter. I was gonna try raise ex 1mm too but decided to be conservative. Didn’t even widen ports or anything.
I’ll have to try one that way some dayThey don’t really need any more intake duration. I keep it as short as possible to keep the crankcase compression. A touch more exhaust duration and a little tickle on the transfers and they come alive.
