Think I’ll give the Husky/Sugi bar a try. Will report back. Thanks for your help.

I’m a TsuMura dealer and Oregon. Had and sold the old Oregon light bars. Definitely light but real floppy plus they had trouble with the inserts coming loose, discontinued for that reason. The TsuMura’s are great, a lot better quality than the Oregons ever were for the rails. The premiums are light, as light as the old Oregons and just as floppy. Going from a rigid bar to one of these you’ll need to change your cutting style some or will be throwing chains. Really need to concentrate on holding the saw parallel in the cut or it’ll walk. The 4 river tips will blow more than the 5 the other brands use if you run a bitey/kicky chain bore cutting hard woods. TsuMura has the best prices for light weight bars. Hope this helps a little. Got any more questions just ask. If you’re looking to buy one let me know, be glad to help you out.

Great information here everyone. Does Cannon make a lightweight bar, if so does anyone have experience with one?

That’s a really good price. That 24” is marked up only $10 from my standard dealer cost.

I have one. Typical Cannon quality, which is to say very high. Price is also very high and they are not as light as some light bars.
