Hunting and shooting thread

I got out squirrel huntin this am quick and tried the shot gun. It worked perfect. Im guessing must have been the little bit of crap i blew out the orfice holes.
I also was using led shots today so if it happens next tme i go goose/ duck hunting i know its the steel shot. But hope its all good now.

It's 4' x 4' on the platform, I stood on the very edge and jumped up and down on it. It didn't budge. so I think I'm good.

I did have my harness on though just in case.

Yes Sir, I doubled the outer ones on the stand. And doubled them up on the cross braces on the tree.
I used 8" lag bolts into the tree.

I like that idea. Do you think it would be safe for two people. Would love to take my son with me but dont have a double stand.
He cant sit still enough on the ground lol.

One of the guys I work with. His son fell outta tree stand 18yrs ago. He's been in a chair ever since. He was 22 and just had second child.
His kids don't remember him ever walking.

" I don't bounce good " Neither do I, and I stumble and fall almost daily. Getting pretty damn good at it though. If I have to walk over 100 yards I will take my walking stick to pull up on if I do fall.
