I like 4x8 box stands on a small trailer. Reclining chairs and propane heat FTW

Mine is 6x6

I wouldn't hunt if I had to sit in a tree stand in the winter.

My kinda hardships I like to endure is being able to take my sweatshirt off without being spotted

Been a good year for acorns. They've been eating them fifteen feet from my home office/gunroom window.

If Acorns were a cash crop, I'd be a wealthy man.
The crop this year is the largest I can remember. Big fat juicy ones. A kid with a sling shot would be in high Cotton.

One of our employees picks up all the black walnut nuts that he can find. He takes the outer skin off of them and then sells them to nurseries. This year he found someone wanting to buy acorns too so he's looking for them.

He was saying yesterday that this year has been a bad year for acorns and black walnuts in our area. I guess the trees haven't produced near what they have been producing in the past.

My Walnut trees haven't produced much for the last couple of years. This year we have more Walnuts but nothing compared to the Acorns. I have an 18' flat bed trailer that's parked under some big Oaks. At times it sounds like a hail storm.

Still way early now. How many deer can you folks shoot, how many doe days, I'm sure most of the season is buck only?
We have doe or buck from oct 1 - nov 12th (I think). One antlered deer and as many doe tags as you have. Not sure how many you can get. I just get one of each. My son hunts too so 2-4 deer a yr is more than enough.

I hear ya. We can shoot 12 in Ga a season...they're just rampant here. And the hawgs are 12 months a yr so we bust their asses at will.
