The shell in the magazine may not be coming back hard enough to trip the carrier release. Assuming the trigger group and action are clean and the magazine tube and "O" ring are clean and in good shape, pull the magazine spring (wear safety glasses) and give it a stretch. That may do it. They can become weak over time. It won't hurt.
I stetched the spring and the shell really come out the magazine fast now. Hopefully try it out tomorrow. Im pretty sure that was the problem.

Sweet lookin piece man. I never owned one cause I thought they were to hard to take down. Is this a new idea ?

Read somewhere around Sept 2016 http://www.ruger.com/products/markIV/overview.html and I never saw one like this till now because of my bro. He is into them.
I have a 22/45 I took in trade.
Rest of mine are smith. Wouldnt mind a browning one.

Nice video in the link above explaining it.

If you want to go cheap and still be able to load moderate volume then the Lee 4 hole classic Turret is a nice option.

It's auto indexing, but only one shell at a time. It's about half the speed as what I can do with my 550.

I loaded a lot of ammo on that turret press before I got my Dillon.

I have a lee 4 hole turret press, It works good for me with the powder measure mounted on it. I can do 38 special, 357 mag. and the 45 colt with it. It will load way more than I can afford to shoot!

I miss my Buckmark .22. It was the fist handgun that I bought in a store and burned in a truck fire 4 or 5 years ago, along with a Stoeger Uplander Supreme 20ga SxS, a Stihl MS660 and 039, Husky 55 and 346xp, plus a lot of hand tools... I was mad about the truck, but devastated about thee tools/weapons.

I kinda wish I never got rid of mine.

With that powder measure, with the biggest disk I was able to get a charge large enough to load 223 plinking ammo.

Hell, I'd like to try a PMR30, but may have to buy one to do it. Nobody has any locally. As soon as they come in, they're gone. I'd like one for my Wife and maybe one for me too...

Bro let me shoot a few clips through one of his.

I've always liked the 22mag in rifles, as a between-er type rifle. 30rd in a pistol

Bro also sells on gun broker cheaper then most others and beats prices. On a bunch of bullpup sites etc too selling.

Heck if he cant beat a price it tells me to ship the gun to him so I can pick up later. Cant beat volume buying dealers sometimes.

You do know that you can double stack the lee powder disks.

I got out and tries my 11-87. Still not feeding shell in. Just pops out magazine and not tripping the fork like thing that put it in chamber.

So i decided to pull apart and clean again and go over real good. But a thing poped.out that shouldnt have. Think its called a feed latch. Looks like it was in a slot that had peen maks on it to hold in. Will post a pic of part im talking about. I dont think this was the problem though cause it cant move when in place.

Seems to be a common problem. I agree that the latch falling out when the trigger group is removed is not the issue.

I have a couple of pumps that the latch falls out when the trigger group is removed.

Here's a thread on the fix for the latch.

http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=291530

Something is happening to tell the gun that the magazine is empty. You might look for that.

I still think the fork thing the bullet hits to send up to chamber is too stiff.
