Yep. It seemed like Winchester was bringing out a commemorative, based on the 94 lever action, every week. There were a lot of guys who collected those and lost a lot of money.


You're spot on concerning the NEF in 45-70.

I have several Commemorative Sesquicentennial 94’s…regular round and octagonal barrels. My ol’ man bought ‘em over a many stretch of years.

What's strange is that some of them appreciated in value, while most depreciated.
I've always loved octagonal barrels. They just drip class.

Agree 100%, that's what I love about my Henry H001T .22. Found another 2000's Handi Rifle in .45-70 in a little rougher shape than the first one. Offered the seller $300.00 for it, hopefully he will bite.

264 mag using 140gr EH bergers. They work on deer and wild hogs great....short or long range. Since this target pic, I've reduced group size using the 156gr EH bergers.

3-shots at 300yds with my weatherby mark v in 7STW.

Weatherby mark V in 7STW with a Krieger barrel 1:9 twist. It loves 175gr EH bergers. Under 500yds it likes barnes 160gr tsx.

It was a heart shot, some blood just dribbled back there while he was running. The camera angle makes it look farther back. He went 20 yards and dead right there.
