Yep. It seemed like Winchester was bringing out a commemorative, based on the 94 lever action, every week. There were a lot of guys who collected those and lost a lot of money.


You're spot on concerning the NEF in 45-70.
I have several Commemorative Sesquicentennial 94’s…regular round and octagonal barrels. My ol’ man bought ‘em over a many stretch of years.

What's strange is that some of them appreciated in value, while most depreciated.
I've always loved octagonal barrels. They just drip class.

Agree 100%, that's what I love about my Henry H001T .22. Found another 2000's Handi Rifle in .45-70 in a little rougher shape than the first one. Offered the seller $300.00 for it, hopefully he will bite.
