That is sad.

I have gotten distracted & done that a couple of times, very disappointing.

Of coarse the dogs didn’t really care though.
Sam's getting pretty good at grilling steaks so I just get him to do the steak cooking......it's better that way.

It gets crazy hot. I haven't found a need for anything over medium heat; and that is too much sometimes. I have seared my steaks on the blackstone and finished on the grill. I am still figuring out how to sear on my charcoal grill

What I don't like is the mess they create and scraping all the crap off. I don't have that with the grill
Just cooked sausage and peppers on it..

Still slick as all get out..

Water bottle sprayed on it cleans everything off..

Re oil.. and you’re good.

I think I screwed up when I first used it a couple times. What oil do you use?
The blackstone kit they sell works well, mine got a little rust on it. Kit has a scraper surface prep stone and a tub of oil they sell to season/ reseason the top. Mine also was sticking some besides the little rust followed the directions in the kit and it’s like new now.
Kit was like 20$ or so
