Anything worth milling? I've never cut any pecan. On the charity cut forecast..
Pastor Bub called me yesterday about a potential youth missions fund raising opportunity..
A local pecan grove needs their grove thinned by about 500 trees. Bub is going to assist the fella with that, but asked me if the trunks would make good firewood.
“Trees are in the 12 to 14” range.” So not huge.
I don't know yet..Anything worth milling? I've never cut any pecan.
I hope ya save a bunch of chunks of that pecan heartwood for some grilling smoke. For us pecan with a small amount of cherry thrown in can't be beat for those long low temp cooks. On the charity cut forecast..
