MS290 to 390 rebuild hit a snag.

Needed a decomp port plug but none in my stash and none at Jack Horners.

Make one out of a China decomp we will. See my friend to use his wire feed welder on it.

Me thinks the birds will be staying around again this winter. The neighbor put his areator out in the lake again.

It's the last spot on this lake that will remain open.

49° & starting to dribble here, support to get about an inch this time around.

Evening all. Turning cooler tomorrow with a cool weekend predicted. Picked up a "new to me" liftgate and may run over to my brother's place for help with replacing my rusted one. Next project will be "what to do with the old one". Guy I purchased it from had a very fair price at $250 for pick. I think I got the nicest one, but does have some surface rust I will need to address. Thinking sanding and putting some PUR15 on the area that will be next to the bed. The rest can be reached while it is on the truck.

Do you use the lift gate for your day job, or is it something you want for your firewood addiction?

#1 purpose is firewood. Handy for moving heavy everything and will spoil you rotten quick. I would hate to be without one anymore.
