Same here, it rained pretty good here last night . Haven't looked to see how much.
0.2” fifty miles north of Kenneth.

Made a passing fair decomp plug with my friend Steve and his wire feed.

Clean him up with a sanding drum and it will be good to go.

Also got Steve’s 015 running. It can use a new loop of 1/4”. 😑
Steve bought that bad boy new.

I was the chainsaw hero again. 🤭

Good day everyone. Hoped to see the aurora's early this morning, but only had the pleasure of a very bright moon and great star seeing's.
10 to 36 or so today. Not to bad for a December start of the weekend.

Good morning folks, weather barkers are yakking about a chance of rain/snow today.

Sinus infection has been giving me a beating, hopefully it starts to let up
Sinus issues suck.
Have you tried eating raw garlic?
Powerful stuff for whatever ails ya.

It's best if you crush it up and let it sit for 10 minutes before eating it.... but watch out, cause it gets some kinda powerful when you do it that way.

My wife has some concoction that someone recommended to
her, honey & garlic. I am giving it a try.

Talked to woodmizer today for about 5 minutes regarding a batch of blades I bought last spring that were cracking / breaking way too early.
The guy at Mo, woodmizer was very helpful, and warranted me a new box of blades.
Made my day. 👍Screenshot_20231201-174737~2.png

Just heard from the GC. Except for a couple of issues that the electrician needs to fix, my house has passed inspection. Once the city approves an occupancy permit we get to go home.
Do you guys need anything? Or should I say, does Goldie need/want anything for the house? Santa is coming to town soon...

Text me if you prefer

I think he wants a pellet stove and a pallet of pellets. Will that fit in ur sleigh? :icon_cafe:
On the subject of wood type heat. Last February as part of getting things out of the house that we wanted to keep, removed the wood stove and put it on the back deck along with other stuff that we wanted to keep. I wasn’t going to reinstall it but was planning on using it if we built down at the stamp later on. About April or May it came up missing. I figured, since I had discussed with the GC originally that we weren’t going to put it back in and the fact that it was originally going to be replaced with a new one, that it had been thrown away along with a LOT of other stuff. I wasn’t too concerned about it because I bought it used and had very little money in it. A couple of weeks ago I was looking through Marketplace and saw a stove just like it. I clicked on the ad and looked at the pictures of it and it was my stove. They had taken enough pictures of it to show a couple of things I had done to it. Really pizzed me off but the more I thought about it the more I figured I really didn’t have enough proof to convince law enforcement that it was mine. It would have been my word against their’s. As they say, possession is 9/10’s of the law so I forgot about it. I’m still in the thinking stage about a pellet stove. Lowe’s carries a good one that I can afford. About a grand but as I say I’m still thinking it over.
I appreciate the thought of is there anything we need but the insurance company has done a good job of taking care of us. Help moving in would be great but we don’t have an exact date of when we will get possession. Hopefully next weekend but I’m not holding my breath.
Last Thursday was the final city inspection. They found a couple of electrical issues that the electrician will have to remedy. The gas meter is to be installed this coming Monday. Once these things are taken care of the city will issue the occupancy permit.
