Grrrrrrr. Just what I want to do. Babysit a "helper" until Christmas that is only on the truck for a paycheck and time to play on their phone. And if I do get someone that will work, they end up going to a different route and I have to train someone all over again. Better off working by myself the next 20 work days.

A beautiful 25° this morning... and no silly snow.

Morning everybody.

The other day I did something I never thought I would do.
I bought a snow blower. Self propelled, 2 stage, electric start.
I know, we don’t get enough snow to justify buying one but I figured if I bought it, it won’t snow.
So I bought it. Plus I got a really good price on it.

Good morning folks. It almost got chilly here. Temp was 10.2f when I got up claimed to be going to a balmy 22 without snow today.

Great weather for cutting firewood here.

Sam split about a cord while I cleaned up junk & did a bit of cutting.
He busted the ripcord, so I had him tare it apart.....I fixed the rope & he put it back together.
Then a customer called and ordered a cord for delivery tomorrow

Good morning folks. It officially got cold her last evening. -1f (overnite) to 32 today. It was good for making ice. This lake went from ice 120-150ft from shore to 3/4 of a mile from the same shore overnight.
Yesterday.

This morning.

There will likely be several cycles of open to froze over before it's here for the season.
