Anybody around Neosho Mo. know anybody that can slab 5' diameter logs?
Maybe @Hedgerow
I've got a customer wanting a couple monster logs sawed into slabs, says the logs are in neosho.....
I ain't got the equipment for that kinda stuff, and it's too far to drive anyway.
Aahhh the ever elusive 5’ slabs..

I can’t go over 36 inches.

I'd like to, but I don't usually hunt....I'm too busy feeding pigs, and making sawdust.....
Now, if I could find somebody that wanted to do a pound for pound trade, I've got lots of trading stock here.....
You really don’t need time to hunt around here, you just need a vehicle. I have killed 4 in the last week with the pickup. I really need to put a cattle guard on then it would get really interesting.

If I decide to go hunting in December with my son-in-law I will keep you in mind, some goats for pork would be a great trade in my mind. I think extra tags are still $7 each here, no limit. Hopefully we are done shelling corn by then.

HeHeHe wish I was some younger. Chainsaw milling up to about 68"-69"
equipment is in stock. Trip may be too much as I'm north east of you Sawdust, a fair drive. A ladder guide long enough is always needed for,my play.

What is your favorite saw to port?

That’s tough. I really like to port Husky 394/5’s because they really become monsters. But they take a lot of effort.

So my favorite would probably be a Husqvarna 550 MK2, it’s probably the biggest gain for the effort and it’s a saw that will get used a lot.

Morning midlanders! Some 20 degrees warmer this am than yesterday. [emoji106]

Been trying to thin the herd but only getting ‘tire kickers’ on Facebook.
