I loved mine so much I bought his big brother the 572 as well. Can’t wait for it to b ported also.

There are only a few models I would say benefit greatly from porting as a work saw.

And the model will depend on who you send it to..

This is from someone who has a *s-word ton of ported saws..

There are things an individual can do without grinding on them to make a big difference in behavior and performance.. call them “hacks” if you will..

You are correct Sir.

I will say my AWOL ported 562 is now my go to saw for all around general work.

That being said the others I have are nothing to complain about its just the 562 from Alan is that good.

I have a ported 562 from a guy who is personna non grata.... it’s a first gen... still use it as a primary...
