Was in KCK this morning. Van got broken into and attempted to steal it. KCKPD came and investigated.

The officer actually lifted prints from the sliding door! I’m more than impressed.

Ho Lee Cow!

Hollywood casino provided survalence
footage and they caught the ass hat. Impounded his car to boot.

Former deputy daughter informed me SJPD wouldn’t have bothered, and just taken the report over the phone. [emoji58]

Soak in salt water hr or so to rid the bugs
Pat dry
Dip in flour and fry in butter
I like them crispy

Sent from the Hoskey Hill country

Add any salt, pepper or garlic to the flour or butter ? Or just season after cooking ?

My wife is concerned we are going to take a trip & never leave the farm… I told her she is always wanting to go some where together, so there is that.

I took down a dead Honey Locust & what I believe to be a dead Hickory, the neighbors dead oak needs to come down in the pasture before it comes down on the fence.

I can't read that first stump.... you just make one cut straight through and see which way it falls? lol
It's a nice clean cut anyways, and a fine looking log too, that honey locast makes some really nice lumber!

There is actually a small angle on there, I made it smaller face cut so I had room for wedges on the back cut. I also skimmed it before I took the pic so it made it a bit smaller. My phone was in the pickup & I didn’t want to trudge over there until I was done cutting.

As you can tell my first back cut started out a bit low.

It was leaning a bit downhill & too the left, I wanted it going uphill & to the right a bit. Trying to avoid some Oaks & Hickories.

I cooked up a few, they were pretty tasty. I will try some of the Greeks olive oil on the next batch.

I see it now....I usually cut all the jagers off the stumps too.... I don't ever want anybody falling on my stump "needles" and getting injured.

Evening everybody.
Sawed some cedar 4x6 for the porch build this morning.
We stopped at a garage sale on the way home and got some deals on a bunch of tools..... also bought two fishing sticks.... anybody know how to use these things? I paid 10 bucks a piece... did I get ripped off?
