Learn to catch big catfish..

Closest thing to swimming meat balls there is.
Last I knew no size limit or # limit.

Even the great big ones are tasty, as long as ya know how to process them. One of my favorites actually.

Idk much about catfish... I'll hafta try some I guess.

Just got back from the Tulsa fair. Ate 2 corny dogs (1 big, 1 little), a carmel apple, roasted Mexican corn on the cob, pineapple whip, bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut and onions, and a fried onion. I’m ready to go back for a late night snack!!!

No length limit but daily limit in MO is 5 blue, 5 flathead and 10 channel. Double that for possession. And as far as for eating I prefer to keep them under 10lbs. Just my personal choice.

The other day somebody was telling me channel are better than the others, is that likely?

In my experience it depends on where they raised at: river, natural pond of farm raised.

Blues & Flatheads prefer live bait but will scrounge

Channels are more of a scrounger but do eat live bait.

Larger channels usually taste like mud to me.

As far as catching big flatheads all you need is an arm with a hand & fingers, the nerve to plunge it into a hole in the bank or a pile of rip-rap & hope you don’t find a muskrat, beaver or snapping turtle.

Blues and flatheads will be the prefered ones to eat. Channels tend to have a stronger, muddier taste to them. Bigger fish will have that red fatty layer on them that have to be trimmed off. Pieces on top in second picture are blue and lower ones with the yellow look to them are channels. Flavor is milder on the blues.

Noodling is illegal in MO. No tickling the fishes tonsils here.

Okay guys, I lied....it was the flatheads he said wus better, and that the channel were worser. Don't know how I mixed that up.... I don't drink so I can't blame that..... I guess I'm just honestly dumb.
Anyways thanks for the input, it might do me some good....if I can remember it right!

Good morning everybody.
