And got some saw therapy in at my nephew's place today as well.....
Big red oak died because he dug up the roots too much when he excavated for the building.

Was you able to drive nails into that stuff, or did you have to drill it?

Coated deck screws. Just in the center so it can shrink without cracking..
“Bark side down” so if it cups, it cups in. I’ll put the batt’s on in about a month or so.

I got some more of landscape fabric, pallets down & cattle panels up for more storage & did the last mow of the year around the pasture stacks. I just need to cut a couple panels for the ends then should be ready to start filling it up. It should hold about 5 cord.

Don't know what they're going to put under it.... they've mentioned lattice, concrete block, cedar, natural stone (lots of that laying around), and metal skirting..... we'll see I guess.
