Missed the rain again. Saying hot weather for awhile yet. 100 stuff next week!
This is the truth....Just get them dry and out of the weather, and they’ll last longer than you’ll have need of them.
Stacked in contact with each other where moisture can be between them is the worst thing for them.
Anybody know anything about busted gears?
It's the planetary guts for the rear hub on an '07 Allmand TLB535 backhoe, no longer in production, and the only source for parts is a place in ct that's totally incompetent.
Dang, it turned out to be a bad day!View attachment 347471
If you can get all the specs, Bates bearing or bearing headquarters might be able to help..Anybody know anything about busted gears?

Come down to “Who made the gearbox?”.
Like most machine builders they source their subassemblies from manufacturers.

Does he have a hobber, or would he mill it?A good machine shop can make that from scratch. I’ve got a local friend that could make that in his shop. If all other sources fail. Could be pricey thought.
