We’re dealing with twisted and warped poles, sub par lumber, and no talent..

But that bastard will look square by the time we get steel on it..
Chains and binders and/or ratchet straps can do wonders to pull it square.
Once the metal is on and the permanent bracing is installed, it will hold itself.

The headers around the top are perfectly square with outer dimensions at 30’x40’x14’ to the top.
I used pre-cut and measured 2x8’s.
Then put a level on each one...
The pole’s were an auction buy that Ely picked up..
So they were what they were.. as long as the bottom is set in the right spot, and the top is flexed to the right spot, the middle can carry on all it wants to...
Sorta like building with old power poles..
Tapered and imperfect, but can be made into a useful barn with enough thought..
And “Y” bracing will stiffen up a barn post haste.
Ruben, the Amish neighbor taught me a few tricks on how to build stuff from junk and have it come out decent. He was a bracing master. Called it “cheap insurance”..

Does the stihl combi system interchange with the other brand mid shaft? Or other brands in general?

Here's that video.

Also the Husqvarna 128ld would be like the expand it with the square drive cable. The new 128ldx has the star drive but is still pretty new and not as common yet.

So I guess if you find a kombi mid shaft you'd have the most flexibility.

Here's one I've not seen before. Not even heard of it.
"G" thread, as in pipe thread.
I have an on demand water heater for the shower house at the Stamp. I'm plumbing everything in 1/2" pex. I bought 1/2" female pipe pex fittings to connect to it. They went on about 1 thread turn. That's where I stopped. Turns out G is British pipe thread in 1/2 inch. Can't really mix it with NPT either. Had to order 2 adaptors on Amazon and quick ship it to me.
$30.
For 2 fittings.

It’s like they trying to have a woke *b-word competition..

And I’m an Olympic sport fan..,

Bring on the shot put... then I’m out..
I have always enjoyed the Olympics as well but haven’t seen much of this years. I figured it would be a chit show obviously I wasn’t wrong.

Literally...

The carb’s and oil pumps on those 170’s are garbage..

Poulans are garbage, but the stihl’s are a special kind of crap.. 50% failure rate I’d bet..
I'd say more than that ,

But mod them and they ain't bad.

Everyone that uses mine falls in love with it, lite , fair power.

Mod the coil a little to add time seems to help when you get that junk carb off .

I carry mine everywhere in the ranger

I was looking to upgrade my husqvarna 325l weed eater to a newer model in a combi system. Does anyone have any feedback on a husky 535lk? Lookn at the specs the 325lk is closer to what Ive got but one can never have too much power. Lol!
