Good news is all it needs is rings and crank seals.

Cylinder looks near pristine and piston has .0035” skirt clearance.

They were generally well built.
No telling how many hours were on it, or what kind of fuel..

Someone ran good mix in it. Underside of piston clean, no black chit like on a high miler with crap fuel.

I was looking to upgrade my husqvarna 325l weed eater to a newer model in a combi system. Does anyone have any feedback on a husky 535lk? Lookn at the specs the 325lk is closer to what Ive got but one can never have too much power. Lol!

So if the o.d. of your shaft is 1" find a dead mtd donor to swap the mid shaft. I've done this with a Stihl FS75 and Echo gt2400.

Not sure. I just went with the MTD stuff since it's cheap. The use the 1/4 square lug. Others use the spline set up. There's a video on you tube with a guy explaining it. All I can remember is the Echo PAS not jiving with anyone else.

I am not a big sweater. Yesterday I sweat pretty good though.
I didn't realize how warm I was until I stuck my head outside the gable entrance, and it felt quite cool outside. I knew then that I must have been pretty hot.
